With temperatures approaching 70 degrees F, I couldn’t pass up the trails in all their fall glory. I decided to take Friday off and ride out at Palos. Considering it was Halloween, the Cemetery Hill trail seemed so fitting. I was kind of surprised to see so many others out on a Friday, but then again this weather was rare. I got in about 20 miles. The trails were in perfect riding condition with just a few slick spots. Too bad this weather won’t last!
There is an old crypt next to the cemetery and I got a couple of other riders to take a picture of me. If the forest preserve allowed night riding, this would have been one spooky trail.
