My first outdoor race of the year today was cancelled (at least postponed) due to a threat of sleet and snow.  Conditions weren’t too bad early today, but they got much worse. It’s probably best that they didn’t have the race, but it sucks when you’ve been looking forward to it for weeks.  As you can see by the photo below, I was all ready to go! Ah, the joys of living in Chicago during the “spring”.
