When Things Used to be Simple

Getting ready for running was easy…pin your number, throw on your clothes, tie your shoes (and occassionally screw in new spikes), and go.  Oh, how simple it was.

Bike races are another story.  You still have you pin your number, but also need to check your tires, lube the drivetrain, check the brakes, adjust the derailleurs.  Alright, I’m going to stop there.  You get the idea.   At least this stuff is cool if you enjoy it!
