I had this weekend off from racing, but Rose didn’t.  She was competing in  her second duathlon at the Pleasant Prairie Triathlon. This gave me a chance to be team race mechanic, soigneur, and photographer.   Great weather and a very nice location.  Even though I wasn’t racing, I was impressed with this race. The duathlon started with a 5K run, followed by a 20K bike, and a 5K run. This gave us spectators a chance to see the racers at several points.  Check out my photos below.

So, how did Rose do?  She ended up finishing as the second female and 9th overall with a time of 1:24:50.  Not bad for just her second duathlon!
